Journey

In 1984, I left Israel for my first international assignment in Hong Kong, supporting the introduction of a semiconductor dicing machine for Kulso, the subsidiary of Kulicke & Soffa. During those years, I also discovered Aikido for the first time. Looking back, Hong Kong became the place where my professional and personal journeys began.

Living in Hong Kong was my first experience away from home. More than the technology or the business, it was my encounter with Asian cultures that profoundly influenced me. I discovered different ways of thinking, communicating, and building relationships. I learned that respect is often expressed differently across cultures, that listening can be more powerful than speaking, and that trust is earned through patience and understanding. Looking back, Those years changed not only the engineer I became but also the person I became.
